We manage energy through our own energy monitoring system, prevent global warming, and try to use solar (PV) energy by renewable energy source for sustainable energy sources. In addition to the production process, sunlight and solar heat are used as energy sources in various places such as workers' cafeterias and dormitories. TKG TAEKWANG participates in 2030 Carbon Neutrality with its client companies and enhances information transparency by disclosing the amount of energy and carbon emissions we use to CDP, SBTi, etc. Furthermore, we also strive to save overall energy consumption through environmentally friendly construction that is LEED certified by the US Greenville Commission.

Practice an eco-friendly manufacturing site.

Based on an advanced defect tracking system, we are working to minimize waste from defects generated in the process and improve production efficiency. We are also promoting resource recycling activities by maximizing the recycling activities for the generated industrial waste in order to have the minimum impact on the environment.

We have our own wastewater treatment facility.

TKG TAEKWANG’s manufacturing plant manages wastewater and sewage at its own wastewater treatment plant, and manages water quality through regular inspections in an internal laboratory. We have a system that can recycle toilet water and landscaping water together with rainwater. In addition, we strive to reduce the waste of flushed water by changing to a new water valve system that allows you to adjust the water pressure and amount to minimize water waste. Furthermore, in order to control hazardous substances used in factories, we are taking a step forward in managing hazardous chemical substances through wastewater ZDHC water inspection.
